John Pfefferle began his career in real estate in 1966, after graduating from college, and has been CEO of NAI Pfefferle since 1972, when he founded the company as Pfefferle Realtors. Mr. Pfefferle expanded his business into management, sale and development of commercial real estate properties through the 1980s, specializing in the Fox Cities area. As CEO, he has been involved in the development and management of well over $400.0 million of property in the past 20 years.

A leader of the Fox Valley real estate community, Mr. Pfefferle is a long-term member of the Fox Cities Board of Realtors and a past member of the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce board of directors and many of its subcommittees; he was inducted into the chamber’s Business Hall of Fame in 2011. Mr. Pfefferle has also served on the regional board of directors of Associated Bank and Marshall & Ilsley Bank (now Bank of Montreal) and on the board of Banta Credit Union.

Mr. Pfefferle is also an active member of his community: He is the current president of the University of Wisconsin Health-Fox Valley Family Practice Clinic and serves on the board of directors of the Fox Cities Building for the Arts. Mr. Pfefferle previously served on the boards of the St. Elizabeth Hospital Foundation and Appleton Downtown Inc. and on the Appleton Catholic Education Board. He also served on the Outagamie County Board of Supervisors for 12 years, including eight years as chair of the property committee.

Amy Pfefferle Oelhafen is the president of Pfefferle Companies, Inc., the umbrella entity for Appleton-based NAI Pfefferle and Pfefferle Management. Ms. Pfefferle Oelhafen works closely with the leadership team to oversee operations and client services. Pfefferle Companies has more than 120 employees, 20 licensed real estate brokers, offices in Appleton, Green Bay, Wausau and Sheboygan and hundreds of clients from small businesses to municipalities and investors to multi-national corporations. Pfefferle Companies is fully invested in every community that we call home, serving in leadership roles at multiple local organizations and supporting a variety of causes. Career Summary

Tom Scheuerman currently works with select accounts and oversees investments in the Washington Street Investment Fund portfolio. Through 2020, Mr. Scheuerman was managing broker of NAI Pfefferle and was responsible for the overall operations of the commercial brokerage area including sales, leasing, administration, and business development.

Mr. Scheuerman joined the company from Valley Bancorporation, a bank holding company headquartered in Appleton, Wisconsin. As vice president, he directed the internal audit and regulatory compliance functions for all bank and non-bank subsidiaries in Wisconsin. Prior to Valley, Mr. Scheuerman was an audit manager in the Madison, Wisconsin office of Grant Thornton. Throughout his professional career, he has overseen audits, including SEC audits of clients from the construction, wholesale, retail, non-profit and banking sectors.

Greg Landwehr serves as a partner/senior commercial real estate advisor at NAI Pfefferle. He was named a partner in the firm in 2020. Mr. Landwehr previously worked as a commercial property inspector for Strategic Asset Services of Rancho Santa Margarita, California and performed lender inspections of properties throughout Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. He became a commercial real estate professional in 2006, after obtaining his Wisconsin real estate broker’s license. Manny Vasquez is vice president of business development for NAI Pfefferle and Pfefferle Companies, a commercial real estate leader founded in Wisconsin in 1971.  He is responsible for promoting Pfefferle’s full-service platform to a variety of clients, including local businesses, investors, owners/developers, municipalities and other real estate users. Mr. Vasquez works in collaboration with the company’s sales and leasing team, as well as its facilities and property management group, to offer a comprehensive platform of services with a focus on industrial, office, retail, multifamily and investment property throughout the state of Wisconsin. Mr. Vasquez also helps the company and client base extend its market reach nationally and internationally by leveraging Pfefferle’s partnership with NAI Global, a network of 300+ local commercial real estate offices around the world.

Prior to joining NAI Pfefferle, Mr. Vasquez led the the Fox Cities Regional Partnership, a public-private economic development organization focused on business recruitment, retention and expansion in Wisconsin’s Fox Cities region. He is actively involved in several non-profit organizations and lives in downtown Appleton.

Joseph “Joe” Schuessler serves as secretary and general counsel for Pfefferle Companies, Inc. Mr. Schuessler has over ten years of law practice experience, including both litigation and transactional experience. He is admitted to practice law in Wisconsin, Illinois and Texas.

Laurel Marquardt joined NAI Pfefferle in January 2009 as director of business operations. She is responsible for operational and sales support functions

Ms. Marquardt oversees the day-to-day operations of the brokerage division including marketing, systems analysis and implementation, revenue and expense analysis and project coordination. Ms. Marquardt is trained in Lean processes. She is also a member of the company’s management team.

Brenda Nakhla began her career with NAI Pfefferle in November 2007, working for the Wausau office. She now works part-time assisting brokers from offices in Appleton, Green Bay and Wausau on an as-needed basis.

Ms. Nakhla’s job duties include creating profile sheets, entering listings into CoStar/LoopNet and MLS websites, producing detailed maps of various properties, assisting in preparing proposals for brokers, preparing the monthly Featured Listing Report and designing various marketing pieces for the company.

Prior to joining NAI Pfefferle, Ms. Nakhla worked for seven years as a legal secretary and two years as an administrative assistant to the CEO and COO of a health care company in Wausau.

Gaylene Muniz serves as licensed broker assistant to Amy Pfefferle Oelhafen and Nick Schmidt in NAI Pfefferle’s Appleton office, where her job duties include working with listing contracts, offer to purchases, showings, expirations, amendments, BOV’s, Letter of Intents, zipforms, creating profile sheets, CoStar/ LoopNet, and doing research and comps. Ms. Muniz also works with Todd Platt, who is the developer on the Dollar General sites that are being built in Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Ms. Muniz began her career with NAI Pfefferle in February 2005, in the Green Bay office where she worked with the real estate brokers and the Pfefferle Management group. In 2007 she transferred to the Appleton office.

Prior to joining NAI Pfefferle, Ms. Muniz lived in San Antonio, Texas and worked with the American Funds Group for 12 years as a broker assistant/call specialist. The American Funds Group is a money management organization offering a broadly diversified family of mutual funds to individuals, leading corporations and institutions.

Mr. Denis began his career in commercial real estate in 1975 and has since transacted business for clients throughout Wisconsin and much of the United States. An active industry and community leader, he served on the board of directors of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce for Economic Development and Business Retention and held public office in his local government as an elected official for 19 years.

Sarah Pahl joined the NAI Pfefferle Green Bay team in November of 2018. She splits her time between NAI Pfefferle, assisting brokers in the office, and Pfefferle Management, assisting in the management of the Green Bay property portfolio. On the brokerage side, some of Sarah’s responsibilities include preparing property contracts, designing profile sheets and marketing available properties. Some of her tasks for Pfefferle Management include working on tenant maintenance requests and working alongside the technicians and property manager in areas where needed to ensure the property is serviced in a timely fashion.

Previously Ms. Pahl worked for the YWCA Greater Green Bay as an executive administrative assistant. There she helped host and plan events and worked alongside the CEO on multiple community relations projects. Prior to this position, Ms. Pahl worked in Texas as a living editor in Fort Hood’s Army public affairs office and headquarters; III Corps and Fort Hood. In this position, she published articles in their weekly newspaper and shot photography; everything from change of command ceremonies to the Alamo in San Antonio.
